Permits first
This is the question we get asked most, and almost nobody explains it.
Who pulls it depends on the job. Sometimes we do. If it is a homeowner build, the homeowner usually does. If a general contractor is running the whole build and hiring us as a sub, they pull it. We will tell you which one applies to yours before you are committed to anything.
We clear for future development, for agricultural use, and for fire mitigation. Each one wants a different finish, so we ask what the land is for before we start rather than after.
